🔄 Transfer Window: Rule Update

To open this article, we'd like to remind you of the rule change that took effect at the end of September regarding one of the recruitment rules for the Regional Tournaments.

 

❌ Old rule:

 

Each participating team must be composed of a maximum of 7 eligible players and may only be completed by players from the venue the team represents (excluding banned or sanctioned players) who took part in split 2 of their local league. 

Example:

  • Team Alpha is made up of 6 eligible players and wants to recruit one final player. They must select a player from a team in their local league who participated in the majority of split 2 between May and September (at least 3 stages). 

 

✅ The new rule states the following:

 

Each participating team must be composed of a maximum of 7 eligible players. The majority of the team must be made up of players from the local league they represent who played the majority of split 2 in that same local league. 

Example :

  •  A team of 4 eligible players must have at least 3 players from the local league they represent who played the majority of split 2 in that same local league. 

  •  A team of 5 eligible players must have at least 3 players from the local league they represent who played the majority of split 2 in that same local league. 

  •  A team of 6 eligible players must have at least 4 players from the local league they represent who played the majority of split 2 in that same local league. 

  •  A team of 7 eligible players must have at least 4 players from the local league they represent who played the majority of split 2 in that same local league. 

 

The reasoning behind this change is a desire to simplify recruitment at this point in the year. The original rule, while intended to preserve a representative level for each venue involved, proved too complex and restrictive, as shown by the many questions raised throughout September following its introduction.  

 

 

Split 2 : New Regional Cup skins are coming!

 

For the Split 2 Regional Cups, we are pleased to release 2 new skins to celebrate the local league community.


 

 

 👉 HOW TO GET THEM?

 

All participating players will automatically receive the skin of the regional cup played.

For fans on-site, you will need:

  • To register on the free ticketing platform of the regional cup you want to attend

  • To scan your ticket at the arena during the event!

Each competition day will be broadcast live on the welcoming arena’s Twitch channel and the EVA Competitive Twitch channel.
